Welcome to Easy Korean Cooking Class: how to make an easy chocolate dessert (bonus lesson #3)

Bonus lesson 3:  How to make a dessert with an easy chocolate sauce

chocolate dessert: saltine crackers and peanuts with dark and white chocolate sauces

I love chocolate, so I thought I would include this desert idea as a bonus for you to try! This is an awesomely simple but a very good desert recipe!  I initially thought of making a fruit dessert, but did not have the ingredients, so decided to make it with what I had in the pantry: nuts and soda crackers!

Ingredients: dark chocolate (4 oz, chopped for easy melting, 60-70% cocoa), white chocolate (4 oz) butter (1TB), peanuts (1 TB), pumpkin seeds (1 TB), almond pumpkin seeds meal (homemade in a high speed blender or a food processor)

1. Place chocolate in two separate ramekins with 1/2 TB butter in each.

2. Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave oven for 25 sec.  intervals, making sure chocolate is melting without scorching or breaking.  You may add some milk or liqueur if needed.  Stir well until chocolate pieces have melted and sauce looks smooth and glossy.

3. Drizzle chocolate sauce on soda crackers and sprinkle some nuts and drizzle more chocolate sauce alternating with dark chocolate sauce with the white chocolate!

Variations: You can use the chocolate sauce on cookies, nuts, bread, fruit, and so much more.  You can pour on top or use it as a dip!
