Lunches like these will give the necessary energy for our daily tasks

Hello
World!! What are you having for lunch
today? I think this is an important
question to ask because a midday meal is important for our body and mind. According to Eastern medicine, our digestive
system is the most robust between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. It’s not hard to believe that considering it
is during these hours that we work and move around the most, and naturally we would
need energy to carry out our daily activities.
Come 6 pm, our ability to digest food diminishes as the body prepares
for sleep.
Well planned lunches like these will contribute to our well being photo cutesy of Unsplash.com |
Our lunches
should be well planned and nutritious. However,
my observation and experience are that our busy daily schedule and our lack of
awareness in this matter seem to push the importance of lunch to the background. I think lunch deserves some good thought and
action and that’s what I am going to write about every Wednesday in August and
September, just in time for back to school (although many students will be
staying home to learn during this unprecedented pandemic era). So please stay tuned!! 😊
