What would you do with those catfish nuggets that you see at the grocery store? Small chunks of fish tend to be cheaper than the bigger cuts, so it would be more economical to buy the nuggets, only if you knew how to cook them! Here's a very easy but delicious Korean style fish stew you can try! :)
You would need: catfish nuggets (1 pound-- marinated for about an hour in soy sauce, mirin, garlic 🧄 powder, ground black pepper and sesame oil), fresh pepper (I used a farm fresh CSA pepper from Eight Mile Creek Farm), and an onion.
How:
1. Heat oil in a pot. Add gochugaru.
2. Add onion. Stir well to mix with gochugaru. Cook for about 1 min until fragrant.
3. Add catfish nuggets. Stir well. Add some water just enough not to burn the food.
4. Add pepper and let the stew simmer for about 10 min.
5. Enjoy with your favorite starch!
Happy cooking!!
