Thanksgiving is coming up...and here's the turkey soup idea in case you maybe wondering what to do with the turkey carcass. I like to make a hardy turkey soup perfect for the chilly weather in the Upstate NY. All you do is to place the whole turkey in a stock pot 🍲 and add all the leftover veggies and herbs from your Thanksgiving meal production, of course except the deserts! The key is to simmer the turkey bones until maximum flavors have been extracted. I would simmer for about an hour and let it sit overnight off the heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper and enjoy with bread 🍞 & butter 🧈!!
